This article deals with the problem of formation of oral coherent speech of younger schoolboys at lessons of literary reading in the course of the study, cheniya fables. The author provides a list of the names of fa-bles included in various educational-methodical complexes, by years of study. The paper discusses the basics-WIDE types of exercises aimed at developing students' ability to freely and coherently express their thoughts orally, in accordance with the situation of communication.
The article deals with the problem of educational motivation of junior schoolchildren. The article presents an analysis of the works of scientific researchers who studied methods of forming student motivation to determine the relevance of the problem, as well as to compare ways to increase interest in learning activities in the period from 1983 to 2019.
