The article deals with the terms of kinship identified by the method of continuous sampling from the dictionary of Russian old-time dialects of Yakutia M.F. Druzhinin. The study of kinship terminology plays an important role in solving questions of the history of a language and helps to formulate conclusions for the history of the development of society as a whole. The terms of kinship in the dialects are given in comparison with the general Russian data. The classification of terms by blood relationship and social is presented. The peculiarities of terms in old-time dialects are revealed: phonetic, lexical and grammatical. There is no doubt that all the kinship terms found in the material of the old-time dialects of Yakutia are terms of general Russian origin.

The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the vocabulary denoting the terms of kinship in the Uzbe and Russian communication culture. The terms of kinship, the peculiarities of their functioning, allows us to identify national specifics, its role in the etiquette of treatment in Uzbek and Russian. Examples of their functioning in communication in the family and outside it are given.
