The relevance is due to the influence of intellectual lability on the ability to learn and success in educational and other activities in adolescence. The authors present a theoretical analysis of the age characteristics of adolescent students. The results of a study aimed at studying the indicators of intellectual lability in adolescent students are presented.
The article deals with the concept of lability as the speed of the nervous system's response to an external stimulus, as well as intellectual lability as the ability to efficiently assimilate information, quickly transition from one task to another. The results of the study of the level of intellectual lability of ninth-grade students are presented,as well as recommendations for the development of intellectual lability.
