The urgency of assessing the possibility of prospective development organization based on the calculation of the economic potential. The authors suggest a methodological approach to assess the level of economic capacity of the organization, based on the availability of existing information base.

The article examines the issues of personnel management by increasing the efficiency of economic potential. Particular attention is paid to the labor potential, transitional zones of its development dynamics are considered. An example is given for a specific enterprise in Volgograd Region. Recommendations are proposed for improving the management of the industrial enterprise labor potential.
