The urgency of assessing the possibility of prospective development organization based on the calculation of the economic potential. The article examines the issues of personnel management by increasing the efficiency of economic potential. Particular attention is paid to the labor potential, transitional zones of its development dynamics are considered. An example is given for a specific enterprise in Volgograd Region. Recommendations are proposed for improving the management of the industrial enterprise labor potential.

The volume and timeliness of work, the efficiency of equipment use, the volume of production, its cost, profit and other economic indicators depend on the efficiency of the use of labor resources. Using the example of an agricultural organization, the use of labor resources and the influence of labor factors on the company's sales volumes were studied.
