The concept "language and culture pedagogy" is defined, which is claimed to be an independent field of pedagogical theory and practice relevant to the conditions of higher school internationalization process; the role of language-and-culture component in specialists’ professional training in the system of multilevel Uni-versity education is observed from the perspective of implementing university innovation strategies and in-creasing its competitiveness.
