The concept "language and culture pedagogy" is defined, which is claimed to be an independent field of pedagogical theory and practice relevant to the conditions of higher school internationalization process; the role of language-and-culture component in specialists’ professional training in the system of multilevel Uni-versity education is observed from the perspective of implementing university innovation strategies and in-creasing its competitiveness.

The paper deals with the linguistic and cultural component selecting technology for foreign language studies in Natural Sciences. It is aimed at t selection of educational materials and educational communicative situations for teaching English for special purposes for bachelor degree courses, master courses and postgraduate training programmers.
