The author analyzes the ethical problems that arise in the course of advocacy and emphasizes that only strict adherence to ethical norms and rules will allow a lawyer to effectively carry out professional activities and serve to strengthen justice and fairness in the state.
This article examines the process of evolution of the institute of advocacy, from ancient times to the present. The main stages of this historical process are presented, including the judicial reform of 1864, and the post-revolutionary period of 1917, and finally, modernity. A comparative analysis of the pre-reform analogues of the legal profession is given, using the example of solicitors and attorneys with professional advocacy, which arose after the judicial reform of Alexander II.
The article examines the meaning and essence of lawyer ethics as the basis for the activities of lawyers; it is concluded that the ethical rules of lawyers' activities contribute to raising the standards of quality of legal assistance and guarantee the confidentiality of its provision.
This article presents a theoretical analysis of foreign and domestic authors' works on the problem of professional burnout. The article briefly analyzes and summarizes the results of the experimental study of psychological features of the content component of professional burnout among domestic lawyers.
