The article reveals the need for the formation of the basics of life safety in preschool children. The experience of working with children on instilling the basics of safety in a preschool institution is presented.

As one of the directions for improving the quality of professional training of cadets, the authors propose the development of a concept and the creation of an educational space for life safety at a military aviation university in order to form a safety culture for military pilots. The result of one of the research stages is the concretization of current trends in life safety as a field of scientific knowledge, practical activity and academic discipline.
