This article is devoted to teaching foreign language grammar in the context of dialogue of cultures. Modern education is becoming multilingual and multicultural, so there is a need to include the concept of dialogue of cultures in the educational process.
The article discusses the components of a foreign language communicative competence and briefly describes the ways of their development. Foreign language competence is divided into linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic competencies. Learning a foreign language is not thorough enough if you miss at least one of them because each of the above-mentioned competencies has its own functions covering the most important branches of linguistics. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to all components of a foreign language communicative competences in the learning process .
In the modern world, in the context of a dynamically developing educational system, an important role is gito the training of highly qualified specialists for various fields, including penal system. Training of a penal system officer, who has a positive image in modern society, largely depends on the formation of his professional linguistic competence, which allows not only to successfully perform professional tasks, but also helps to establish effective interaction in everyday life.
The article discusses the concept of linguo-cultural competence, its content, as well as its role in teaching foreign languages. The concepts of "competence" and "competence" are analyzed and differ-entiated. The interrelation of the concepts of linguo-cultural competence and language culture is ana-lyzed.
