The article is dedicated to an evidence-based illustration of Internet-memes influence on the written and oral communication of modern young people. The definitions of the Internet-meme and Internet-discourse are given. The methods of carrying out the survey «Memes in youth’s communication» are described, its results are highlighted, the conclusions are drawn from the questionnaire. The prospects of the research are touched upon at the end of the article.
