The article deals with the problems and difficulties, which have come on the system of secondary and higher professional education in the Middle Volga region’s cities (Penza, Saratov, Ulyanovsk) in the postwar period. The authors suggest ways of their solution on different levels.

The article discusses ornithological situation features within the Middle Volga region during various year seasons. Spring and autumn migration, birds activity dependence on the meteorological and hydrological conditions, bird-aircraft smash statistics are discussed. Recommendations for aircraft pilots to avoid bird-aircraft smashes are developed.
