This work is devoted to the use of a systematic approach in the consideration of pedagogical phenomena and the formation of engineering thinking of a modern pilot. It is shown that one of the main approaches to pilot training is a systematic approach. The concept of «pedagogical system»is analyzed.

The paper considers the features of the implementation of learning technologies using the provisions of the theory of gradual formation of mental actions in the application of the study of special disciplines related to the operation of aviation equipment. It is shown that the use of technologies in the training of cadets of military aviation universities that combine a set of performed actions, their speech accompaniment, control of the time of execution of the algorithm of operations, the creation of a stable mnemonic connection and the formation of a mental representation of all instructions performed by the pilot with a reaction speed not lower than required, will allow the formation of professional flight skills of cadets with the required quality.
