The article presents the results of morphological studies of the Bashkir population of Central Russia of race (species) mellifera on the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the hypothesis of the emergence of the collapse of bee colonies.

The theoretical bases of derivation doctrine are considered in the article. As a separate branch in linguistics, derivation was finally formed only in the 20th century. Antique and medieval authors studied changes in language only in the context of other studies in morphology. However, their conclusions about the word change have formed a powerful methodological basis for studying derivation in the structural and subsequent stages of philological thought.

The article examines irregular word production using English basics, carried out by students of the Faculty of Philology in their personal Telegram channels. Particular attention is paid to the fact of the relative isolation of blogs from the English-language Internet space and the occurrence of derivational processes in these conditions.
