Unemployment is one of the most important characteristics of the socio-economic problems of the region. The article examines the structure and dynamics of the main indicators of unemployment in the Orenburg region, draws conclusions about the dynamic shifts in the corresponding structures.

In the article the statistical analysis of the unemployed population of the Orenburg region. The article reveals the basic concepts of statistics on employment and unemployment, examines the dynamics of statistics on the number of unemployed registered in state institutions of the employment service of the Orenburg region in 2010–2019, and also forecasts statistics of the unemployed population in the Orenburg region in the pandemic situation.

Soil pollution by petroleum products is one of the urgent environmental problems in the Russian Federation. This article examines the administrative responsibility for such offenses, the regulatory framework and the problems of legislation in the oil industry. The impact of soil pollution on human health and the ecosystem is analyzed.
