The paper discusses the influence of use of socio-cultural experiences to motivate learners to study mathematics. The author distinguishes such components of socio-cultural experience as a genetic approach, elements of historicism, practical and humanitarian orientation, educational and aesthetic aspects of teaching mathematics, idea of mathematics as the language of science.
The training of competitive mid-level specialists is an urgent problem for the state. The purpose of the study: to study the influence of the regionalization of the content of education on the quality of training specialists in secondary vocational education. Using the example of the specialty "Law and organization of social security", the author proposes the regionalization of the content of academic disciplines, taking into account the characteristics of the region. The developed guidelines confirm the role of regionalization in improving the competitiveness of a specialist. The effectiveness of practice-oriented training is substantiated by organizing research work of students on problematic issues, the effectiveness of the competence-based approach in educating a competitive lawyer is proved.
