H. K. Andersen devotes the article to disclosing the sources of humor and satire in fairy tales. The author offers an analysis of the fairy tales, in which most clearly reflected these distinctive features of the creative manner of the writer, the origins of which have their roots in the distant past Andersen.
The object of the study is the allegorical poem by W. Langland "Visions of Peter the Plowman", which is interpreted as a work related to eidetic literature. The poetics of the work is analyzed from the point of view of features characteristic of the literature of the eidetic period: traditionalism, canonicity, rhythm, reflexivity and the principle of non-abstraction of the concept from the image. The genre feature, composition, themes, images, spatial organization, symbolism of architectural images, biblical texts, the language of an allegorical character are considered. The author's use of satire and carnival laughter is noted. The conclusion is made about Langland's adherence to the literary traditions of the Middle Ages, about the poem's belonging to eidetic poetry, as well as about the author's innovation, who, based on the achievements of French literature and the general specifics of the English version of the vision – dream, summed up the achievements of medieval literature and paved the way for new traditions, focusing in his work on the world of people and outlining the trend of secularization, experimenting with the form of the genre of allegorical poem, complicating the poetics of allegorical visions.
The article examines aspects of animalism and anthropomorphism in the dystopia of J. Orwell's «Animal Farm». In the tradition of animalism, Orwell humanizes animals, turning them into a protest community whose anger is directed against human tyranny. At the same time, the writer creates an angry satire on the bourgeois system, which turns people into working cattle.
The study of linguistics phenomena in «Devils» of Dostoyevsky as elements of political satire contributes to the study of Russian literature, 19th-century culture and methods of Russian linguistics. The relevance of the work is due to the need to understand how the novel presents historical and political realities of the 19th century, relevant for modern Russian culture, from the point of view of linguistics. The aim of the study is to study linguistic and cultural phenomena, through which «Devils» expresses ideological conflicts and changes in Russian society of the XIX century.
