The article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of psychological and speech development peculiarities of a Children’s Home inmates. The author considers the factors and causes of delays in speech development at an early age (lack of trust, unfavorable social conditions). The peculiarities of the speech development of children at an early age in the conditions of a Children’s Home are revealed.
