Federal State Standard of Preschool Education pays attention to ethnic-cultural education. Its specifics is traced in the educational area "Social-Communicative Development" and in the basic principles of preschool education. The variable part of an educational program of each kindergarten contains regional component. Working in this direction, we face a problem of loss of national traditions and customs, insufficiency of methodological material on acquaintance of preschool children with national culture and life. The paper deals with creation of conditions in kindergarten for development of ethnic-cultural perceptions of preschool children.
