The article is devoted to the monologue listening as one of the most difficult aspect of speech activity and analyses a new training manual on listening and speaking skills development. This training manual was developed at the chair ‘Russian philology’ of the University for foreign students, learning the Russian language. An audio text and a developed set of tasks are given as an example.
The article deals with phonetic and other linguodidactic problems in the development of oral speech that Tajik students face in the lessons of Russian as a foreign language. We also consider ways to eliminate them and ways to overcome difficulties in the process of studying Russian as a foreign language outside the language environment. Russian language status in Tajikistan does not allow students from remote areas to master Russian well enough to successfully study in Tajik universities. And here, for the development of oral speech, it is necessary to use speech exercises, for example, to form the skill of Dialogic speech. The article is intended for philologists, linguists, especially for those who teach Russian in the Tajik audience.
