The article is devoted to the development of leadership skills in children of primary school age within the framework of the "Leadership" system of events. The necessity of a systematic approach to the organization of extracurricular activities, including diagnostic, developmental and reflexive components, is substantiated. The results of testing a set of diagnostic techniques and game activities aimed at identifying and developing the leadership qualities of younger schoolchildren are analyzed.
