The article describes intonation constructions, which is expected to master at the initial stage of learning Russian language; it substantiates the need of teaching foreign language intonation studing the Russian language at a military university; it is encountered the difficulties that can be noteced in the practice of teaching Russian intonation; some practical recommendations are given.
The article examines such a methodological technique as an exercise using the example of the practice of teaching RFL. It is proved that the fulfillment of various types of exercises in order to obtain theoretical knowledge and develop the necessary skills and abilities contributes to the successful formation of professional speech. Attention is drawn to the need to take into account the specifics of the educational process associated with online learning. The importance of taking into account the psychological characteristics of foreign students is discussed. A system of exercises is proposed that not only consolidates knowledge of various aspects of the language, but also develops the creative capabilities of the student, which allows them to use the knowledge gained in oral and written forms of verbal professional communication.
The article is aimed on practical recommendations in critical thinking skill development. Participant observation method was used to prove the effectiveness of the exercises system suggested for the skill development. The result shows the expediency of the suggested technique.
