A lesson in the form of a court session is not a new practice in teaching methods. Teachers of literature, historians, social scientists often use this type of role – playing business game to fix certain topics. How to conduct a lesson-trial? What nuances to consider and how to prepare students?

The article deals with the notion of dramatization, compares different points of view on this phenomenon. The theatricalization is treated in this work as the use of the means of theater in the process of pedagogical activity. For mastering the topic «Pronouns categories» at the lessons of the Russian language in the 6th grades of secondary school such elements of theatricalization as skits, reading by role with expression are offered.
