The article deals with various types of names of persons, traditional for business letters of the middle of the XVII century. We see names that are used today, as well as obsolete in our days.

The whole complex of female nominations in the linguistic picture of modern youth is considered from the standpoint of a broad understanding of the term feminine gender marker. The thematic groups that are most actively replenished with the names of female persons in modern youth jargon are analyzed.

An attempt is made to characterize a fragment of the child's worldview by considering the thematic composition of language units related to the game vocabulary.
