The article focuses on the problem of teaching international students majoring in engineering and science communication in the English language in the professional sphere. The authors show that in a foreign language classroom the skills of using professional terminology in English and in Russian and learning the language of science are not less important than developing language and communicative skills; so they are to be given equal attention to. Study-guides are to be developed with the view to the necessity of interacting in three languages.
