Motherhood was considered as important social and economic function of the woman. Confidence of soldiers at the front in protection of children provided peace of mind being at war and at the same time, cemented unity of the front and back.

The article considers the statistics of surnames in the USSR at the beginning of the 20th century based on the information of generalized data bank “Memorial”. A list of the top 500 most common surnames is presented. The results are compared with the lists obtained in other studies.
In the article, the author returns to rethinking the historical experience of the development of the financial system of the USSR from the standpoint of contemporary problems of the Russian economy. In the context of tougher financial sanctions on the part of the leading foreign countries of the world against certain sectors of the national economic system of the Russian Federation, as well as complications caused by the general crisis of the global economy, it is necessary to develop a new financial policy for our country. To do this, you can use the experience of reforming public finances, which was obtained by domestic financiers during the years of the existence of the USSR. Despite many unresolved problems inherent in the financial system of the USSR, this system was able to ensure the rapid restoration of the national economy after the devastation of the civil war and the treacherous attack of Nazi Germany. Today this experience turns out to be in demand again. Analyzing publications on the history of the development of Soviet finance, the author highlights key points that may be useful for the formation of an effective financial policy in modern Russia.
The article is devoted to the theory and practice of federal relations in the Russian Federation in the period 1992 to 2022, the problematic aspects of federalism in the South of Russia are noted, ways of reforming the state-territorial structure of the Russian Federation on the principles of a contractual principle, peaceful resolution of territorial disputes, consideration of complex issues in referendums and in the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, proposals were made to improve the current legislation.
The study focuses on such issues of the evolution of state financial control as the allocation and description of the key stages in the development of control (stages of birth, formation after the revolution of 1917, the Great Patriotic War, the second half of the twentieth century), the conti-nuity of financial policy in the field of state financial control, the relationship between theory and practice.
