The article examines the effectiveness of volunteer organizations among students of Tuvan State University in 2024. The authors analyze the effectiveness of volunteer organizations, evaluate their contribution to the social development of the region and identify factors affecting the effectiveness of volunteer activities among students. The results of the study can be useful for developing strategies for the development of the volunteer movement at the university and increasing its effectiveness.

This article examines the social and personal significance of volunteerism, as well as its motivation among adolescents. Existing research on similar topics is reviewed to correlate findings and reflect on the results, as well as the historical experience of volunteer and charitable practices. The research methodology utilized interviews with volunteers from among the members of the Council of the First of the Smolensk Region.
