Article examines the wild food plants in the classroom basics safety. The authors suggest the development of an elective course "Wild edible plants in an emergency situation" for pupils of 8th grade.

This scientific work is devoted to the study of wild plants in the food industry. Special attention is paid to empirical research methods. The article describes in detail the use of candied and dried pansies flowers in the preparation of cheesecake. The author comes to the conclusion that it is worth introducing baking with the use of wild plants into the diet.
