The purpose of the article is to analyze migration processes among young people in the Arkhangelsk region, as well as factors that increase migration trends. As a result of the study, it was found that the migration of the population in general and young people in particular in the Arkhangelsk region is mainly of an economic nature. Inattention to the problems of youth in the studied region increases the motivation of this group to migrate.
