The article discusses speech development problems in primary school students when learning outdated vocabulary. Introduction of a learning process aimed at teaching outdated vocabulary in reading classes in primary schools.
Psychological protection of personality is one of the most controversial phenomena in psychological science, attracting the constant attention of researchers. Nevertheless, the problem of studying the psychological defenses of the individual is one of the underdeveloped ones. According to researchers (A. Freud, R. Plutchik, E.S. Romanova, E.R. Grebennikov, I.M. Nikolskaya, R.M. Granovskaya), it is at primary school age that the basic protective strategies of human behavior are determined. This leads us to the need to study the psychological protection of the personality of younger schoolchildren and the factors influencing their formation. The article presents the results of a study of the types of psychological defenses among younger schoolchildren. The results of the study indicate that the most intense at this age are such types of psychological defense as intellectualization and projection, and the least tension is observed in regression and replacement.
This article describes the program of neuropsychological support. It is based on the multilevel system of movements of Bernstein N. A. The definition «prerequisites for graphomotors» is formulated. This process is presented in the program in the form of progressive steps. The recommended plan allows you to get stable results in younger students with moderate cognitive disorders.
The article reveals the need for the formation of ethical ideas among younger students in extracurricular work. Diagnostics was carried out, during which it turned out that not all children have sufficiently formed ethical ideas. The content of the formative stage of empirical research with students of the 4th grade, aimed at the formation of ethical ideas in extracurricular work, is shown.

The article discusses the effectiveness of using military-themed literary works in the process of fostering fourth-grade students' interest in such literary works. The purpose of this work is to identify the pedagogical conditions that effectively influence the development of fourth-grade students' interest in military-themed literary works. The leading methods of research on this problem are the study and analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the topic of research, interviews, testing, pedagogical experiments, and methods of mathematical processing of the obtained data. The main results of the article include the description of the content components of fostering reading interest in junior schoolchildren for works of fiction on military themes, as well as the disclosure of the forms, methods and means of working with military-themed works in literature classes and extracurricular activities for younger students.
