Basic principles of forming foreign language learning competence

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of language-practice learning competence of student of the faculty of foreign languages at the teacher training university. The author gives the definition of language-practice learning competence, describes its structural components, characterizing their functions and contents, and analyzes demands which make basic component of the process of forming this kind of competence.
