The article discusses current problems of the structural words typology. Factors that hinder unequivocal qualification of the nouns naming logical relations of conditionality are considered. It is demonstrated, that such structural words may be regarded not only as relators, but also as classifiers.

The article deals with syntactic means of expressing conditioning relations, the use of which allows us to present the idea, concluded in proverb, in the most compressed form. There is a special role of attributive combinations capable of conveying a folded proposition.
