The guidelines below are intended for teachers, professors, students, and the public at large who are interested in the issues of English writing culture. They provide a detailed plan for completing the writing task–writing an argumentative essay.

This article offers methodological material on “Inversion" which is one of the most difficult and yet, dimly lit in the school course of English subject-matter. The proposed set of exercises provides various kinds of tasks on practicing this grammatical phenomenon in a variety of contexts and is intended for high school classes, as well as for those deeply involved in the English language.

The paper is devoted to the revelation and analysis of the peculiarities of the communicative tolerance during the intercultural interaction between Russian and Chinese students in the Komsomolsk-na-Amur universities. The authors highlight the major ways to develop communicative tolerance and means to improve it.
