In this paper, the problem of the organization of educational work in university is viewed through the prism of thematic holidays within teaching the discipline "The Speech and Writ-ing Practice." The notification on procedure below is intended for underclassmen, majoring in the training program of bachelors in Linguistics. It collected a wealth of regional studies material with the reference to the internet resources that are in the public domain.

In the given article the problem of youth subculture value system is considered through a prism of Intercultural communication theory. Values are generalised behaviour guidelines of individuals and groups of people; therefore their knowledge helps to achieve positive results in interaction. Researches of intercultural contacts local features are of particular interest today.

This article offers methodological material on “Inversion" which is one of the most difficult and yet, dimly lit in the school course of English subject-matter. The proposed set of exercises provides various kinds of tasks on practicing this grammatical phenomenon in a variety of contexts and is intended for high school classes, as well as for those deeply involved in the English language.

The tasks given in the article are the examples from the system of active methods worked on and used by the author during the seminars on the academic discipline «The Basic Theory of Intercultural Communica-tion». The tasks are aimed at identification and elimination of misunderstanding and at prevention of possi-ble conflicts in intercultural intercourse of different cultures representatives. They contribute to the shaping of Bachelor of Arts intercultural competence.
