The paper is devoted to the study of the problem of the formation of psychological readiness for school in the circumstances of safe educational environment when transferring from kindergarten into school. The paper discusses the conception of “psychological readiness for school”, its components (intellectual readiness, reasonable readiness, emotional and volitional readiness). There are some results of research of the level of children’s psychological readiness for school.
