The article focuses on the development of information literacy skills while implementing group interaction in the course of English language learning and acquisition. The author of the article analyses the key concepts and specifies tasks and activities, which enhance and foster information literacy. The article contains description of the positive sides of group interaction and indicates possible organizational obstacles. The author summarizes personal experience of group interaction implementation.
The article focuses on the actuality of monologue skills development in the process of language learning and acquisition at high school with the help of problem solving activities and tasks. The authors analyse notions of a monologue (transactional speech) and problem solving activities, describe preparation and implementation stages. Positive characteristics of this teaching technique are specified, and the terms of its implementation are determined. The authors summarize their personal experience, add a fragment of a lesson plan, assess practical results and list recommendations.
