In this work the theoretical analysis of concepts "creative thinking" and "creativity" is given. Theoretical approaches to understanding of a phenomenon of creativity are stated. The purposes, research problems, directed on studying of creativity of students of the different countries are described. The assumption that there are distinctions of expressiveness of creativity at the Russian, Japanese and Korean students is made.

This article presents the direction of the educational program on the formation of the creativity of students in the process of studying the subject of geography, provides opportunities for positive socialization of the student, his all-round personal development, development of initiative and creativity through collaboration.
