The paper deals with the experience of civic education by means of local history in a multicultural school “Zaistok” in Tomsk. The author shows directions of search-research activities and forms of work.
The article discusses the problem of civic education of children of preschool age from the perspective of the interaction of preschool educational organizations with their families. The authors identified the initial level of civic qualities among older preschoolers and proposed a set of joint activities with parents in the aspect of civic education of children in the conditions of a preschool educational organization.
The article examines the joint work of a family and a preschool educational institution as a condition for the successful civic education of a child. The author defines innovative approaches, techniques, draws conclusions about the main directions of integration of the activities of a preschool educational institution and the family in the upbringing of a citizen. The necessary conditions for productive work are highlighted: the integration of the content of education and knowledge of the world, the relationship between values and citizenship, the creation of a favorable environment.
The article raises questions of civic education in the Russian Federation, sets out a view of the processes of pairing the civic education of young people with the processes of patriotic and military education in general, ensuring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Russia, its security and defense capability.
