The article presents the results of studies on the relationship of indicators of civic engagement and personality traits seniors. Personal and professional development of students is carried out with the strategic objective of ensuring active participation of future professionals in the construction of the state in social and economic processes of society, improving the profession. The development of civil society is not possible without the formation of citizenship among every member of society. In this regard, the education system needs to settle the problem of civil education of the younger generation. States the study, the results of which are shown in this paper, indicate a lack of efficiency of formation of citizenship among the students in the educational process of high school. It actualizes the problem of creating institutions in the higher school of special pedagogical conditions necessary for high-quality civic education of students.
