The article discusses the relevance of the formation of computing skills in primary school students. The authors present the results of the research work obtained on the basis of a general education institution in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, using the testing method. The analysis of the research results allows the authors to conclude that the problem of formation of computational skills is relevant in primary school, and a set of tasks has been developed using techniques that contribute to the formation of computational skills.
