The method of combined ABC-XYZ-analysis, which is used to optimize the structure of the pharmacy assortment with the purpose of further reducing the level of stocks, is considered in detail.

The article describes a methodology for assessing the residual life of an overhead pipeline that has worked for more than 30 years, taking into account the defectiveness of welds. To assess the technical condition of the pipeline, the main common methods of non-destructive testing were used, such as visual-measuring control, thickness measurement, radiographictransillumination. Based on the calculations, it was found that the above-ground pipeline has almost completely exhausted its resource and cannot be allowed for further operation without carrying out repair measures.
