This article analyzes the methodological, didactic, and cognitive foundations of the STEM approach in the context of preparing schoolchildren for the professions of the future. The integration of mathematics and computer science
is considered a key core of STEM education, fostering algorithmic, systems, and
engineering thinking.
The article examines microlearning and micro-credentials as tools for updating higher and continuing professional education programs. The purpose of the study is to show their role in the personalization and flexible restructuring of the educational process. The analysis demonstrates that the combination of adaptive learning, short content formats, and cumulative certification of results makes it possible to preserve academic integrity while increasing the practical relevance of educational programs.
