The article examines the influence of the relationship between children and parents and their influence on the formation of motivation for learning in adolescents. Theoretical approaches to understanding motivational processes are reviewed, as well as the specific mechanisms through which the features of family interaction can both support and hinder the learning activity of adolescents. The article examines various parenting styles and communication models in the family, their role in the development of educational motivation among young people.
