The article is devoted to identifying the relationship of parenting style, attitude towards parents and behavior standards in older adolescence. The author tested a hypothesis about the indirect influence of parenting style on the behavior standards of adolescents. As a result, it was found that the influence of parenting style on the behavior standards of adolescents is mediated by the nature of their attitude towards parents. Adolescents would show a high level of behavior standards and responsibility only if they perceive their parents as people who are not excluded from the life of children, who are interested in their affairs, without dogmatic prescriptions and increased control.

The Author conducts a theoretical analysis aimed at studying the features of school anxiety of younger students in families with different styles of parental attitude to them. Our research allows us to state the tendency to develop high school anxiety, due to the unfavorable style of parental attitude, including a low level of acceptance, cooperation and symbiosis, and a high level of authoritarian hypersocialization.

The article considers the family as the subject of the upbringing of a preschool child, reveals the content of the fundamental principles of the psychological and pedagogical foundations of family education, presents an analysis of the study of families at the level of subjectivity.
