The article discusses the main problems of increasing the efficiency of using fixed assets arising at the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Rostov region. Based on the analysis, we determined the fundamental factors that influence the efficiency of agrarian formations’ fixed capital use. This will make it possible to develop measures aimed at improving the efficiency of using fixed assets, and thereby, improving the financial condition of agro-industrial complex economic entities.

The events in the economy of Belarus that took place after the presidential elections in August 2020 are reflected. The state of the Belarusian economy has always been unstable. The declared socio-economic goals for the current five-year plan are clearly not attainable. Since the beginning of 2020, the Belarusian economy has been influenced by the global “coronavirus crisis”, which was superimposed by an internal political crisis. It is proved that without the resolution of the political crisis, the country's economy will not get out of stagnation and recession.

The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated digitization and automation, allowing companies to remain resilient even in difficult conditions. Many enterprises have implemented modern digital technologies and changed their business models. The effect of the pandemic will be felt for a long time, and the digital transition will continue. If the business does not keep up with technological trends, it will be difficult to overcome the mistake. Cutting-edge technology will continue to change our lives and the way we work, opening up huge business opportunities around the world.

The article is devoted to the study and analysis of key factors ensuring the economic security of enterprises of the military-industrial complex. Enterprises of the military sector produce specialized military and civilian products, and at the same time become a platform for the introduction of innovative developments, contributing to the modernization of the national econo-my.
