The authors consider the ergonomic characteristics of helicopter cabins for equipping helicopters with new information display systems and, as a result, increasing the information load on the crew and their impact on flight safety. Separate questions are considered by the authors about the formation of the information display system and the light climate at the crew's workplaces. Based on the work carried out, the scope of necessary measures aimed at improving the flight safety of modernized and promising helicopters is justified.
