The article is devoted to the grammatical and phonetic features of the Irish dialect of the English language. To obtain a complete comparative analysis, attempts were made to identify the causes of the appearance and functioning of the English language in Ireland, the language situation and the language policy in the country were examined.
Changes in the state language can clearly reflect the policy and political trends in the region. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the domestic form of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as Kazakhstan) is complex and changing. In this paper, Kazakhstan is chosen as the object of study and attempts to analyze the changes in relations between Kazakhstan and Russia using language policy as a starting point. Kazakhstan has a diverse ethnic composition and a complex historical evolution. As a newly independent state in Central Asia, Kazakhstan is still in the stage of gradual exploration in various aspects of construction. As a result of the rise of nationalism in the country and the government's increasing attention to the importance of fostering national identity, the Kazakh government has been trying to carry out a series of linguistic policy reforms in the country, which is reflected in the constant search for a balance between the Kazakh and Russian languages. However, since Kazakhstan is dependent on Russia in many ways, it is still a long way to go to develop national consciousness and consolidate the sovereignty and independence of the country through “de-Russification” of the language policy.
The modern linguistic situation in Kazakhstan in the conditions of bilingualism is considered, the main factors of its development are determined. From the sociolinguistic standpoint, the actual concepts of bilingualism are specified. It is emphasized that harmonious national-Russian bilingualism presupposes the observance of optimal proportions in the study of the native and second languages, each of which plays its own role in the spiritual development of the nation.
The paper highlights the issue of the language constituent of globalization. The polarity of views on concepts and approaches is shown; common tendencies in the development of European languages under the influence of Global English are presented; need to design an adequate language policy to protect the status and integrity of national language in globalized world is underlined.
The article deals with the historical and political aspects of the formation of national policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The article examines the national situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the first years of independence, which contributed to the change of interethnic relations in the country. The results of solving interethnic problems, ensuring interethnic harmony, tolerance and consolidation of society are highlighted.
