The article is dedicated to the topical problem of functioning of borrowed words in the modern Russian language. It aims at revealing peculiarities of usage of borrowed emotive interjections by modern people in their speech. By analyzing interjections, that were included into the active vocabulary of Russian native-speakers in the previous decades, the authors try to find out the reasons and the consequences of the process of borrowing of words that express the emotional attitude of a man to the surrounding reality.

The relevance is driven by the need for multilingual professionals in the context of globalization. It examines the theoretical foundations of linguistic worldview and bilingualism, as well as the specific characteristics of bilingual grammar schools in Slovakia. The study analyzes how instruction in Slovak and Russian contributes to the expansion of linguistic awareness, the development of cognitive flexibility, and intercultural understanding among students. It describes the pedagogical approaches used to foster bilingual competence and broaden perspectives. The conclusion highlights the effectiveness of bilingual education in modeling a multifaceted linguistic worldview necessary for successful communication in a multicultural world.
