The article discusses the concept of "author's style", its relationship with the term "idiostyle". The role of the author's style in literary works, in the drama is defined. The features of author’s style by Bernard Shaw as a playwright and creator of "Pygmalion" play are determined. The authors identify those features of the author's style by B. Shaw, which are invariant to translation works. They make analysis of two "Pygmalion" translations with the aim to identify the main features of the author's style representation in translation.
The article presents the analysis of lexical-semantic and stylistic features of the representation of psychologism in the steppe landscapes of A. p. Chekhov. The paper reveals the modern understanding of psychologism in the literary work, as well as analyzes the features of its implementation in the steppe landscapes. The author pays special attention to the role of lexical and semantic groups of words, contextual synonyms and lexical repetitions in the creation of an individual author's linguistic picture of the steppe in Chekhov's works and their participation in the transfer of psychologism.
The units of predicate vocabulary are characterized as a means of representing objects of the natural world, capturing their beauty; the words in the predicate function used in the description of the pheasant are analyzed. The features of V.M. Peskov’s idiostyle as a journalist or a moderator of the program «Window to Nature», are highlighted. These features determined the creation of visible, colorful natural images and had an educational effect on the addressee.
The article examines the functions of the allusive onym "Mumka" in the story by
M.A. Osorgin. The linguistic means of creating a literary parody of an animal character are also characterized in this article. The idiostyle features of the writer's literature manner in the study of the story are noted. We have established an importance of the intertextual connection between the story "Mumka" and the prose of I.S. Turgenev. In particular, between the stories "Mumka" and "Mumu".

This article is devoted to the analysis of the idiostyle features of former British Prime Minister Theresa May. The authors make an attempt to create the politician’s speech portrait, identify and structure the targets, speech tactics, strategies and stylistic devices used by Mrs. May and the influence of speech behavior on political culture and public opinion. The research of the speech portrait of the politician not only reveals the individual characteristics of the leader, but also allows us to understand their influence on political processes and public perception.
