The article examines the meaning of the myth about the influence of the Mongol-Tatar yoke on the national character of the Russian people in the context of the opposition of Russia to the countries of Western Europe. The authors analyze the ethnicity of Genghis Khan’s era Mongols. They discuss the role and significance of historical myths in the geopolitical struggle.
China is the third largest country in the world, but it is home to fifty-six ethnic groups, each with their own beautiful and special songs that are recorded and transmitted to this day, showing the value of their existence. As time goes on, more and more traditional musical cultures do not have a complete and detailed musical system. The path to preserving traditional arts is becoming increasingly difficult. This article uses the example of the Mongolian people, the equestrian people of the north, to analyze the colorful musical culture of the northern peoples of China and its preservation.
