The article considers the problem of children's adaptation to school education in the context of value orientations set in the conditions of creative cooperation between the family and the school. The description of the project of the family workshop «Farvatoria Initiatives», based on the joint creative activity of subjects of the educational process (parents, children, teachers) is presented.

The article analyzes some objective and subjective factors in the formation of children's health, which include the ecological situation, the state of the health care system in Russia, as well as the way of life of the family and the features of children's consciousness and behavior that are fundamental in the process of constructing a healthy future for children.

This article examines the psychological and pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of parental competence. Special attention is paid to the forms of working with parents for the successful upbringing of children. The results of the study can be useful for specialists in the field of psychology, pedagogy, social work, as well as for parents seeking to develop their parental competence.
